SAN FRANCISCO — A patent licensing company that’s suing Apple in San Francisco federal court is trying to turn the iPhone maker’s most famous litigation victory against it.

Reno-based Unwired Planet LLC is demanding that Apple Inc. turn over the full, unredacted damages reports that helped propel Apple to a $1 billion win over Samsung Electronics Co. in the smartphone “trial of the century” in San Jose.
