A Dallas jury has awarded $73.4 million in the first trial to go against Boston Scientific Corp. over one of its pelvic mesh devices.
Jurors in the 95th Judicial District Court in Dallas County found that the Obtryx transvaginal sling was defectively designed and that Boston Scientific failed to warn doctors about those defects.
