Atlanta lawyer Bobby Jones—a founder of the Augusta National Golf Club and a predecessor firm to Alston & Bird—died in 1971, but the sportswear line named for him is alive and on its way home.

Jones Global Sports, parent company of the Bobby Jones apparel brand, announced Tuesday that its corporate offices will move from Bordentown, N.J., to Atlanta this summer. The Jones group, owned by Waitt Co. of Omaha, Neb., will move into the Terminus 100 building on Peachtree Road in Buckhead, the company announced.

The Jones Global Sports announcement quoted CEO Andy Bell saying that Atlanta is “where we belong.”

Robert Tyre Jones Jr. graduated from Emory University School of Law and was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 1927. He won golf’s grand slam—all the major tournaments—in 1930, according to Alston & Bird’s website.
