The Cleveland firm opened an Atlanta office in 2005. It is the firms only outpost in the southeastern United States and the smallest of its seven offices. Russell J. Rogers was named partner-in-charge of the Atlanta office in 2010. Rogers predicted the implementation of Obamacare and the America Invents Act likely will make health care, intellectual property and patent work active areas of practice in 2013. With a second term [for President Obama], Rogers said, regulatory practices probably will pick up. Industry research also indicates a higher level of mergers and acquisitions activity on the national level in 2013. Locally, we are hoping to see real estate rebound.
