AMERICUS, Ga. AP – Millard Fuller may have been banished from Habitat for Humanity International, the charity he co-founded and ran for 29 years, but he hasn’t lost his passion for building homes for people in need.

Shortly after he and his wife, Linda, were fired in January 2005 for making comments the Habitat board considered divisive and disruptive, they formed a new charity, the Fuller Center for Housing, to continue what they see as their life’s work. They’ve found supporters around the world.
