Leading Dutch law firm De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek is to open an office in Singapore.

In a statement, De Brauw said its new office will advise on mergers, joint ventures and arbitration in Southeast Asia. The firm added that it is increasingly representing Dutch companies looking for opportunities to expand in Asia, a trend that it said has intensified with economic uncertainties in Europe.
