An ex-municipal judge reprimanded for his romance with a bailiff can proceed with a federal suit alleging his former law firm forced him to resign as a consequence of the interracial affair.

District Judge Esther Salas on Wednesday denied a motion to dismiss Wilson Campbell’s discrimination and retaliation claims against Michael Tanenbaum, chairman of Sedgwick Detert Moran & Arnold.
