A federal jury in Virginia awarded San Jose-based Active Video Networks $115 million in damages Tuesday after finding that Verizon Communications Inc. had infringed four patents related to interactive television services.
Attorneys from Morgan Lewis & Bockius in San Francisco, Palo Alto and Washington D.C. represented Active Video in the three-week trial. IP litigation partners Daniel Johnson Jr. and Michael Lyons led the team, along with partners Dion Bregman, Brett Schuman and Nathan McCutcheon.
