As a staff lawyer for the Georgia Resource Center, Kirsten A. Salchow works on capital defense cases. She tries to prepare so thoroughly for court that surprises will not shake her.
So in her hobby, she seeks serendipity. She makes quilts from her own patterns and favorite fabrics. She sews pieces while flying for work, or watching movies. She’s finished 11, with two more in the works.
