SAN FRANCISCO — Scorched-earth litigation between two pharmaceutical companies in San Mateo County Superior Court has turned into an all-out brawl between lawyers on both sides.
Last week, lawyers at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius accused opposing counsel of “screaming” at the trial judge in a bid to cause a mistrial. On Monday, Burlingame’s Cotchett, Pitre & McCarthy, returned fire, saying it’s the Morgan, Lewis lawyers who are trying to force a mistrial.
