With a 3-year old and a 9-month old at home, Jaclyn Cohen does not typically go out for dinner on week nights.

But toward the end of November, she and her husband made an exception. They left the kids at home with her mother and grabbed dinner at a neighborhood restaurant, Ruby’s Oyster Bar in Rye. Cohen had made partner at Weil, Gotshal & Manges that day, which warranted celebration.
