Q: I am a recent graduate and I am still seeking an entry-level position. In my job search, I have had no luck with mailings and answering ads. Networking hasn’t worked out well either. I’ve sent e-mails to alumni, awhile ago, but no one has followed up with me. Plus, when I go to events, I feel overwhelmed, especially in big crowds. I don’t know where to start and, anyway, approaching people makes me uncomfortable. I feel especially awkward asking someone about jobs. What do you suggest?
