Federal prosecutors on Tuesday indicted (pdf) Lauren Stevens, the former associate general counsel of GlaxoSmithKline LLC, on charges of obstruction and making false statements about off-label uses of a drug.

Stevens could not be reached for comment. A spokesman for Glaxo didn’t immediately return phone calls. The indictment does not name the company or its drug because the company has not been charged with a crime.
