The former general counsel of the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission has sparked an ethics firestorm after he took a job in September as assistant general counsel of Duke Energy Corporation‘s affiliate in Indiana.

Scott Storms, the ex-GC, allegedly sought the job with Duke Energy Indiana, Inc., while he was overseeing hearings and other matters related to the giant electrical company. Storms couldn’t be reached for comment.
