Steven Slater — the former JetBlue flight attendant — has now set the standard for dramatic voluntary departures from employment by calling out an obnoxious passenger over the plane’s PA system, grabbing two beers and then activating the inflatable slide for a quick departure from a 28-year career.

Disgruntled and fed-up employees everywhere are fantasizing about their own two-beer jump: “One of these days!”
