Chadbourne & Parke on Wednesday said it had hired lawyers to staff an office in Sao Paulo, Brazil, that it is preparing to open.

Charles Johnson, formerly counsel with Clifford Chance’s Sao Paulo office, will join as a partner, while Daniel Spencer, a former Mayer Brown associate, will join as a senior associate. Felipe Creazzo, a New York corporate partner, will move to Brazil to join the new office, which will draw support from other parts of the firm.
