Anthony Nuzzo has spent much of his 42 years of practice helping other lawyers get out of ethics and malpractice jams. The managing partner of Nuzzo & Roberts in Cheshire, Conn., practices before the Statewide Grievance Committee and defends professional liability claims in court and in mediation; he also does defense work in insurance coverage and bad faith claims.

Last month, Nuzzo was a panelist on a Connecticut Bar Association presentation about minimizing professional liability risk. Active in national, state and local bar associations, he has worked to improve the image and performance of the profession, and authored a book, “Avoid Legal Malpractice Claims by Doing the Obvious.”
