A federal judge is weighing whether he is required to order an evaluation of accused U.S. embassy bomber Ahmed Khalfan Ghailani for his competency to stand trial.

Southern District of New York Judge Lewis A. Kaplan on Tuesday told both sides to produce a list of psychiatrists from which he would select one to evaluate Ghailani in the event the judge orders a full competency inquiry.
