After eight years as the frank, independent-minded leader of Ballard Spahr, Arthur Makadon is getting ready to hand over the reins of the firm to strategic planning partner Mark S. Stewart, the two confirmed Wednesday.
Makadon will finish out his three-year term in July 2011 and Stewart will officially take over. Makadon will return to the full-time practice of law at the firm.
