Despite dips in gross revenue and revenue per lawyer, Saul Ewing grew its profits per equity partner by 14.5 percent without cutting head count or its equity partner tier.
Managing partner David S. Antzis attributed the feat to shaving off about $7 million in expenses through cost management practices that were implemented in mid-2008.
