Former California State Bar General Counsel Marie Moffat retired last May, and less than a month later Chief Trial Counsel Scott Drexel was let go. The jobs have remained vacant since.
That’s a long time for two head honcho positions to go unfilled, and if you add in Executive Director Judy Johnson’s forced march toward a February exit, it begins to look like an organization in disarray.
