Video-sharing website Veoh Networks has just a month to file appellate briefs to defend a court win over Universal Music Group's infringement claims. But the company has gone belly up and it is unclear if there's money to pay lawyers or even the desire to fight. The uncertainty over whether Veoh will mount a real defense could threaten the 2008 ruling, which helped define the limits of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.
