Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Judith Kreeger plans to retire June 30 and took the opportunity in her resignation letter to criticize Florida’s mandatory retirement age of 70 for judges.
“Unfortunately the state loses the benefit of their knowledge, experience and wisdom while many are in their prime years of productivity,” she wrote Gov. Charlie Crist last Thursday.
