Houston police continue to investigate the shooting death of Houston trial lawyer Scott D. Lassetter, who was found in critical condition on March 17 outside his ex-wife’s house in the Memorial area of Houston and died two days later. Around noon on March 17, two employees of a pool service company found a critically injured Lassetter with a gunshot wound to the head, according to a Houston Police Department offense report. Lassetter, 52, was found lying face down in the back yard of the house, according to the report, and a pistol was found next to him on the ground.
