Carlton Fields has snagged a group of four corporate lawyers from Morris Manning & Martin for its Atlanta office. Susan L. Spencer, Terresa R. Tarpley and James Walker IV joined the firm as shareholders last week and Shellie L. Hammock joined as an associate.

“Carlton Fields had a vision of growth, even in this economy, that was very attractive to us,” said Walker. He said the firm’s larger size and full gamut of practice areas was also attractive, since clients use attorneys in multiple practice areas.
