Miami-Dade Chief Circuit Judge Joel Brown breathed a sigh of relief when he got the final budget numbers from the county this week.
He lost $1.6 million but was able to save some key positions he feared might face the ax as county commissioners struggled to fill a budget hole more than $400 million deep.
