K&L Gates said Monday that Roger Crane has joined the firm as a partner in New York from Nixon Peabody, where he was a leader of the business litigation team.

Crane is arguably best known for representing Adelphia Communications Corp. executive Michael Rigas during his federal retrial on conspiracy and wire fraud charges.
