Pond said his involvement in rescuing two brothers and a man who tried to swim out to save them on June 26 was something anyone else who was in the right place at the right time would have done. Pond, a workers' compensation trial lawyer with Martin Banks Pond Lehocky & Wilson, received the Sea Isle City "key to the city" on July 4 for his actions.
