The U.S. Department of Labor has filed a response to an immigration law firm's lawsuit seeking an injunction against the department's audit, saying the injunction request is moot. New York's Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy, considered the nation's largest law firm dedicated to corporate immigration, filed a lawsuit last month against the DOL following its decision to audit the firm's immigration applications. The DOL claims some Fragomen attorneys improperly advised clients.
