A Tulsa County, Okla., judge has sentenced an attorney to one year in a private correctional facility on a felony manslaughter charge linked to the street-racing death of his law partner.

District Judge Clancy Smith made no finding of guilt Monday on the first-degree manslaughter count to which Kenneth L. Morgan pleaded no contest to in June. Morgan, who also pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor count of driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor in a personal-injury accident, can have the case dismissed in five years if he successfully completes probation.
