Verizon Communications has named William B. Petersen, president of its Pennsylvania operations, as vice president and associate general counsel for state regulatory matters for the Northeast.
Petersen will remain president of Verizon Pennsylvania until a successor is named while taking responsibility for Verizon’s legal strategy on regulatory matters in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and the New England states.
