In the latest strange consequence to the 2005 Fulton County Courthouse shootings, the county’s Superior Court judges are set to lose their county health insurance and other benefits at the end of July.

The order from the Fulton County government manager stems from the interim county attorney’s interpretation of a Georgia Court of Appeals ruling that cleared the way for a negligence suit by the widow of Judge Rowland W. Barnes against Sheriff Myron E. Freeman to go forward.
