Amazingly, I have been silent on the one topic that is keeping Biglaw abuzz this time of year: the crazy, booze-filled weeks that are the Summer Associate Season.
My silence stems from my mixed feelings about these kids who roam the halls, making the office echo with carefree laughter as they head off to free lunches, happy hours and softball games. These kids are all nice enough — smart, witty, eager. I’ve enjoyed their company when I have time for idle chatter.
