Linklaters London partner Jim Rice has been appointed as the firm’s new global head of capital markets, replacing Nick Eastwell in the role.

Rice, who will lead the Linklaters capital markets practice for an initial four-year term, was appointed at the beginning of the month. He takes on the position from Eastwell, who has recently been appointed to head the firm’s newly established practice group for emerging markets in Europe, Middle East and North Africa (EEMEA).
