Six of Philadelphia’s most well-known general counsel are championing the Philadelphia Bar Association‘s fundraising campaign in support of legal services by signing a letter sent to more than 30 of the city’s firms with business clientele.

Philadelphia Bar Association Chancellor Mike Pratt asked the six general counsel of two universities, a health care company, a telecommunications company, an energy company and a utility company to jointly sign letters in support of the third year of the campaign. The campaign is now rechristened the Raising the Bar Higher Campaign in light of Pratt’s call for law firms to expand to a three-year commitment of giving and to increase their giving by at least 10 percent in each of the next three years.
