The U.S. Supreme Court delivered yet another plaintiffs’ victory in an arbitration case Thursday when it held that a court, not an arbitrator, must decide whether a forum selection clause trumps an arbitration provision in a lawsuit against the crypto exchange Coinbase.

The court’s unanimous decision in Coinbase v. Suski was a procedural victory for plaintiffs suing the crypto exchange Coinbase for allegedly deceiving them into paying $100 to gain entry into a promotional sweepstakes run by the company.
