Protests on university campuses around the country continued Thursday leading to further disruptions for universities and law schools. After police were again called to Columbia University’s campus this week, the school said late Wednesday that it would administer remote exams for the rest of the semester and the law school said it would allow students to elect a course to be graded on a pass/fail basis.

Amid the protests, legal experts have raised a variety of issues surrounding demonstrations, ranging from First Amendment rights to Title VI concerns.
