Mike McNamara, the former U.S. CEO of Dentons, has left the partnership at the global law firm to become the first CEO as well as an equity partner at legal industry advisory firm Baretz + Brunelle.
McNamara spent more than 20 years at Dentons and its predecessor firms and was appointed U.S. CEO in 2017 after six years as managing partner. He abruptly stepped down from the role in July 2021 and subsequently worked to build out the firm’s new global family office and high-net-worth team. He will retain an affiliation with the firm as a senior adviser.
