Leslie Kendrick has been appointed as the 13th dean of the University of Virginia School of Law, effective July 1.
Kendrick will succeed Risa Goluboff, the Arnold H. Leon professor of law and a professor of history at UVA and the first female dean of UVA Law. Goluboff announced in September that she would be stepping down at the end of the academic year after completing an eight-year run.
