A Philadelphia jury on Monday awarded $15 million to an ex-Jefferson Health surgeon who accused his former employer of gender-based discrimination in its handling of a rape investigation against him.
It appears to be the largest Title IX verdict for a male plaintiff since the law was created, the Beasley Firm's Lane Jubb Jr., who represented plaintiff John Abraham, said in an email.
