The Australian government is planning to take account of how much pro bono work a law firm does when allocating work to firms.
It will also publish a list of law firms on government procurement panels that do not meet its target of 35 pro bono hours per year per lawyer, according to an open letter by Attorney General Mark Dreyfus, a member of Australia’s Labor Government.
