The Missouri Court of Appeals affirmed a judgment which reduced the $5.5 million punitive damages awarded by the jury to a personal branding business by more than half.

In a July 18 opinion authored by Judge Alok Ahuja, the Missouri Court of Appeals affirmed the reduction in punitive damages awarded to family-operated, personal branding business All Star Awards & Ad Specialties Inc., reducing the jury award to $2,627,709.40 in punitive damages due to state law limitations.
