The fate of Golden Gate University School of Law has been publicly in question for close to a month, but university officials reassured the GGU community that the law school will remain open for at least the 2023-24 school year.

For the past 10 years, GGU Law, which was founded in 1901, has been struggling to generate enough tuition to meet operating costs and for several years has been out of compliance with the American Bar Association’s bar passage requirements, according to school officials.
