Last year, when Goldman Sachs CEO David Solomon emphatically rejected remote and hybrid work as the new normal and called it an “aberration,” much of the corporate world, including the legal industry, declared him out of touch. They would not, they said, do what Solomon did—order employees to return to the office full-time.
