After three rounds of balloting, the Nevada Commission on Judicial Selection chose three names to be submitted to Gov. Joe Lombardo to fill a judicial opening in Department C of the Eighth Judicial District.

On March 10, Justice Lidia Stiglich announced that the commission received 12 applications from individuals who wish to fill the judicial opening. The field was narrowed to three finalists, who await a decision by Lombardo on who will ascend to the bench in one of the state’s busiest courts.
