Scott Graham, senior writer on intellectual property law, is retiring from ALM Global after 35 years serving in a variety of newsroom roles and mentoring generations of ALM journalists. Graham, who writes Law.com’s Skilled in the Art briefing on IP law, is known as one of the legal industry’s leading journalists covering patent policy, IP litigation and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

“IP lawyers reading Scott’s coverage have repeatedly shared with us that he has gotten very complex issues so right that they would save his articles and rely on them for their own discussions about recent rulings and developments,” said Molly Miller, ALM’s chief content officer. “This kind of reliance and loyalty doesn’t come easily, but Scott’s work over these many years deserved every bit of that trust.”
