Columbia Law School announced late Friday that it too will cease participating in the U.S. News & World Report education rankings, becoming the fifth law school to do so within a three-day period.

In a message to the Columbia Law School Community, Gillian Lester, dean and Lucy G. Moses Professor of Law, said, “Since its founding, Columbia Law School has been a leader in legal scholarship, education, and practice.”
