Leaders at Fish & Richardson have confirmed the elimination of its litigation secretary role, leading the firm to let go of support team members across its 14-office footprint.

Layoffs at the global IP firm come as firm leaders move forward with an effort to transition the litigation secretarial role into a position they said aligns better with the “advanced skill sets” of legal talent needed in the practice of law today.
