Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie and Jenner & Block filed a lawsuit Tuesday in Colorado District Court on behalf of Greenberg Traurig. The court action takes aim at Tijs Verwest, also known as Tiësto, who is an internationally successful Dutch DJ and musical artist. The complaint seeks declaratory judgment that Greenberg Traurig did not commit malpractice in its representation of Verwest with regard to tax liabilities. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 1:22-cv-00286, Greenberg Traurig, LLP v. Verwest.
