The longtime legal operations director of Google has left the tech giant to take on an executive role at a contract management company. Mary O’Carroll is also stepping away from the Corporate Legal Operations Consortium (CLOC), where she has served as president since January 2019.

At Google, O’Carroll worked as the director of operations, technology and strategy for the legal department since 2008. She began her role at Ironclad, a San Francisco legal technology company, earlier this month as Ironclad’s first chief community officer.
